Thanks to (Dr. Presswood’s) professional help I am able to continue working.
“Hi, my name is John. Since high school I have suffered from chronic back problems. Sometimes, the pain was so great that I could hardly move or stand. I had seen several chiropractors to no avail. The pain was still unbearable. Then, recently I suffered from severe back pain, and I went to see Dr. Alan Presswood and in 2 weeks my pain is almost completely gone.
“It is really nice to be able to get out of bed in the morning without pain. I do plan to get regular adjustments to keep my back healthy and pain-free.
“Without Dr. Alan Presswood, I was almost forced into an early retirement, but thanks to his professional help I am able to continue working.
“Thank you very much, Dr. Presswood.”

I would certainly recommend this treatment…
“I went to Dr. Presswood with severe pain in my upper back and neck. I had a shooting pain down my right arm which felt like an electrical shock, plus my fingers in my right hand were numb.
“After trying to get relief with standard adjustments Dr. Presswood suggested that I should try the decompression table with physical therapy. After three weeks I could feel my fingers and the electrical shocks when I turned my head had lessened dramatically.
“I would certainly recommend this treatment if Dr. Presswood felt it would be helpful.”

Finally!! Someone had figured out a non-invasive way of helping the body heal itself!
“I am like so many other people who you probably know who suffered every day from pain. Mine was unrelenting back and neck pain. It had been a part of my life for so long I had actually considered it just another part of growing old and kept telling myself to just get over it and live with it.
“It hurt when I sat, it hurt when I lay down, it hurt when I just sat still and did nothing at all, and it was especially bad when I tried to do necessary things like vacuum the floor or wash the car. Enjoyable pastimes like playing with a pet or riding a bike were a thing of the past as I could not chance that this extra, unnecessary activity would cause a “flare-up” of pain that would take me days to come out of.
“I would go to see Dr. Presswood, my chiropractor at Presswood Chiropractic, and he would adjust me. I would be OK until my bones slipped out of alignment again and the severe pain would come back. I had MRIs confirming a herniated disc in my neck and my medical doctor suggested injections in the spine to alleviate the pain. Well, I had talked to a lot of people who had had these injections and found out that they could only give you a couple of these in your lifetime and that they did not cure the condition; it came right back when the medicine that they injected wore off.
“I tried therapy exercises but was at a loss to explain why the very thing that was supposed to keep me out of pain was making the pain virtually unbearable! I would do my exercises and wait patiently for the pain to end, which it never did.
“How could I tell the trained medical personnel that were there to help me that I thought that my condition was going to require something more than exercises and drugs to help me?
“Well, I had made my mind up I was going to ask for surgery. The surgery would “shave” the part of the disc off that had started to bulge. Common sense told me that shaving off something that my body needed to cushion my discs probably wasn’t a good idea, but I had do something. I could not keep living like this.
“When I had given up and was going to tell Dr. Presswood that I probably wouldn’t be seeing him for a while, he called me into his office to show me something on his computer about vertebral axial [spinal] decompression. He said that it was a form of therapy that stretched the spinal discs apart and allowed the nerves that were being pinched and the discs that were slipped out to “pop” back into their correct spaces, thus stopping the pain. Well, it seemed like common sense to me, so I signed up. After all, what else did I have to lose at this point?
“I laid down on a comfortable soft table and a harness was placed around my head, and the machine was turned on. My head was pulled and “stretched” gently from my neck and held and released slowly. Each session lasted about 20 minutes. I began looking forward to my sessions because I felt so much better after one.
“Soon, after the therapy I started noticing the severe pain in my neck was gone and I could “move” in positions that I had not allowed myself to move into for years. The pain always present in my arm like a toothache stopped throbbing. The unrelenting shoulder pain eased and I actually felt hope for the first time in many, many years.
“Finally!! Someone had figured out a non-invasive way of helping the body to heal itself! And it wasn’t going to take years to pay for or months scheduled off of work with lost wages for recuperation time and another scar. Or another surgery and even more drugs for the pain as the condition worsened and the deterioration continued.
“Vertebral Axial Decompression, in my opinion, is an intelligent, safe, and widely accepted answer for all ages to permanently alleviate the debilitating effects of people suffering from back, neck, sciatica, arm, and head pain caused from spinal compression and deterioration.
“Just ask anyone who has done it and you will hear many people tell you their story. The look of true happiness shining on their faces as they relate to you their own personal account is enough to make you want to give it a try like I did.”

Dr. Presswood performed a miracle on my back….
“In 1976, I had back surgery for two ruptured discs. After some time I started having severe back pain and began leaning to the right, which just got worse with time.
“I went to Dr. Presswood, highly recommended by a friend. He was reluctant to begin decompression therapy at first because of my prior surgery. After the very first treatment, I felt a tremendous difference! My back felt better than it had in years.
“I am so very grateful Dr. Presswood made the decision to use decompression therapy and recommend it as a first option for anyone with back problems. He performed a miracle on my back. I was headed for a wheelchair. Now, I can even enjoy gardening again.”

Now I can exercise without difficulty or pain…
“Before I went to Dr. Presswood, I had lost my balance because of an ear infection. I noticed a big improvement in my breathing after my first visit. I have had treatments three times a week for the past few months. Each time I noticed a great improvement in my walking, and now I can exercise without difficulty or pain.”

I am pain-free (after 20 years)…
“Thank you, Dr. Presswood. I have been getting adjustments for about 20 years, due to a whiplash injury. For the last 9 months, I have had constant neck, shoulder and arm pain. I am halfway through spinal decompression and I am pain-free. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!”

The pain in my right leg was gone. … Now I no longer need a cane.
“I went to my doctor to see about the pains in my back and down the front of my right leg. He sent me to an orthopedic surgeon who ordered an M.R.I. It showed that I had a herniated disc in my lower spine, and they ordered back surgery immediately. A friend told me that I had a choice to go to a chiropractor and possibly avoid back surgery.
“So, I called Dr. Presswood and he told me he could help me by putting me on a decompression table and doing a spinal adjustment. He promised me an 80% success rate in about 6 to 8 weeks with 20 treatments.
“After 4 weeks of treatments, the pain in my right leg was gone. The disc in my spine was continuing to heal.
“Now I no longer need to use a cane. Dr. Presswood said that my spine is healthier and stronger than it was before I injured it.”
